At IndoGlobal LEI, we are committed to providing transparent and fair refund and cancellation policies for our Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) services. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are issued and applications can be cancelled.
Important: Due to the nature of LEI registration involving third-party verification and processing by GLEIF-accredited Local Operating Units (LOUs), certain fees are non-refundable once the verification process has commenced.
1. Refund Eligibility
1.1 Eligible for Full Refund (100%)
- Before Submission: If you cancel your LEI application before it is submitted to the LOU for processing
- Duplicate Payment: If you accidentally made a duplicate payment for the same service
- Service Failure: If we fail to deliver the LEI certificate due to our gross negligence or system error
- Technical Error: If charged incorrectly due to a technical glitch on our platform
Timeframe: Request within 24 hours of payment for full refund eligibility.
1.2 Eligible for Partial Refund
- Rejection by LOU: If your application is rejected due to incomplete/incorrect information provided by you, administrative fees will be deducted (₹500 or $10)
- Early Cancellation: If cancelled after submission but before LOU processing begins, we refund the LOU fee minus our service charge (30% of total fee)
1.3 Non-Refundable Situations
- After LEI certificate has been issued and published on GLEIF database
- If application is under active processing by the LOU (verification stage)
- LEI renewals after the renewal has been processed
- LEI transfers after the transfer request has been initiated with the new LOU
- Additional services like expedited processing (rush fees are non-refundable)
- If the application was rejected due to fraudulent information or misrepresentation
2. Cancellation Policy
2.1 Customer-Initiated Cancellation
You may cancel your LEI application under the following conditions:
- Pre-Submission: Full refund if cancelled before submission to LOU
- Post-Submission, Pre-Processing: Partial refund (70% of fees paid)
- During Processing: No refund once LOU verification has commenced
- After Issuance: LEI cannot be cancelled once issued; you may let it expire without renewal

2.2 IndoGlobal LEI-Initiated Cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel your application if:
- Required documents are not submitted within 15 days of application
- Fraudulent or false information is detected
- Payment fails or is disputed
- Entity does not meet LEI eligibility criteria
In such cases, a full refund will be issued if the cancellation is not due to customer fault.

Note: The actual time may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
4. LEI Renewal Cancellation
For LEI renewals:
- Before Renewal Processing: Full refund if cancelled within 24 hours of payment
- After Renewal Submitted to LOU: No refund, but the renewed LEI will remain valid for the extended period
- Auto-Renewal Cancellation: You can disable auto-renewal anytime before the renewal date without penalty
Tip: If you don't want to renew your LEI, simply let it expire. There's no need to cancel an active LEI unless you want a refund before renewal processing.
5. LEI Transfer Cancellation
If you're transferring your LEI from another provider to IndoGlobal LEI:
- Before Transfer Initiation: Full refund if you cancel before we initiate the transfer with the previous LOU
- During Transfer Process: No refund once transfer request is submitted to both LOUs
- Transfer Completion: No refund after transfer is complete
Timeframe for Cancellation: Transfer requests can be cancelled within 12 hours of payment.
6. Disputed Charges
If you believe you were charged incorrectly:
- Contact us at billing@indogloballei.com before initiating a chargeback
- Provide your Application ID, payment receipt, and description of the issue
- We will investigate and respond within 48 hours
- If the dispute is valid, a full refund will be processed immediately
Warning: Initiating a chargeback without contacting us first may result in suspension of your account and LEI services until the matter is resolved.
7. Force Majeure
In cases where service delivery is delayed or prevented due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., GLEIF system outage, natural disasters, government restrictions), we will:
- Notify you of the delay within 24 hours
- Offer a full refund if you wish to cancel
- Expedite processing once services resume at no additional cost
8. Refund Request Process
To request a refund, please provide the following information:
- Full name and email address used during application
- Application ID or Order Number
- Payment receipt or transaction ID
- Reason for refund request
- Preferred refund method (if different from original payment method)

9. Exceptions and Special Cases
Bulk Orders: For organizations ordering 10+ LEIs, custom refund terms may apply. Contact partners@indogloballei.com for details.
Annual Subscriptions: If you've paid for multi-year LEI registration (3-year or 5-year), refunds are prorated based on remaining validity period, minus a 20% administrative fee.
Partner Accounts: Partners with special agreements should refer to their partnership contract for refund terms.
